I’m Natalie Franco McDermott, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS). I began my career in clinical rehabilitation, where I witnessed how gentle, precise manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) could ease pain, reduce swelling, and restore function for patients managing chronic conditions.
A personal experience with burnout deepened my commitment to lymphatic therapy when I discovered how MLD not only reduced physical swelling but also lifted mental fog and emotional stress. That transformation was more than physical—it renewed my energy and sense of purpose. It inspired me to expand both my knowledge and practice, diving deeper into the science of the lymphatic system and exploring how this gentle therapy could support a wider range of needs. Over time, I began specializing in cosmetic post-operative recovery, detoxification, digestive support, and the management of lymphedema and Lipedema.
I’m fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, which allows me to connect deeply with a diverse range of clients and make them feel truly understood and supported. When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors with my family—soaking up the sun at the beach, camping under the stars, or going off-roading with my Jeep club crew. I believe that joy, connection, and movement are essential to wellness, and I bring that same grounded, energetic spirit into every treatment I provide. Sharing these moments with my loved ones keeps me balanced, inspired, and ready to support each client’s unique journey.
